To cope with the current crisis, we need to lessen most of our usual expenses which include our food budget.

Buy in bulk.

Cook more often. Prepare your meals and snacks which means dapat iwasan ang madalas na pagbili ng foods from restaurants and fast food chains.

Buy early in the market. Make sure to wake up early and grab the freshest products from the market like meat, fish, fruits, and vegetables.

Cook in big portion. This is mostly advisable for a family of four or more. If you can cook in big portion of dishes, sasapat na yan mula umaga hanggang gabi. This will also lessen your cooking expenses like gas and electricity. Also, you can store foods in the fridge and just heat them upon serving. This can last for a day or two. Mas maramihan ang luto natin, mas tipid sa ibang ingredients and time.

Lastly, never waste foods. Unless you have pets to feed, huwag magtira ng pagkain sa plato. Remember, wasted food is a wasted money and time.
